About Giorgio's Place
Located at 908 Western Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15233, Giorgio's Place operates as a pizza restaurant serving Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
In Pittsburgh, the busiest hours are Friday and Saturday evenings and any night with a big game, when quoted delivery times can stretch past an hour; ordering before 5 p.m. or picking up yourself avoids the wait. Delivery radiuses are small, often two to five miles, and a minimum order plus a delivery fee is normal, with a tip of a few dollars for the driver on top. Lunch specials such as two slices and a drink, or a personal pie, are the cheapest way to eat at most shops across Pennsylvania on weekdays. Toppings are priced per item and half-and-half pies are usually free to request. Gluten-free crusts and vegan cheese are increasingly common but often cost a few dollars extra, and cross-contact in a shared oven is standard unless the shop says otherwise.
Hours are published for 2 days a week. On most of those days it is open 9:30 AMβ9 PM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Giorgio's Place at (412) 322-0404; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is giorgiosplace.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Customers rate it 4.5 out of 5 on Google across 715 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded pizza restaurants in Pittsburgh.
Pittsburgh is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Pittsburgh peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Here me out. Pittsburgh native here. I've been eating here with my dad since I was a kid. The last few times I've eaten there young folks are working in the kitchen. I can taste the difference in the pizza. The pizza is not very saucy and it doesnt have the garliky taste it usually has. The sauce is almost non existent on the pizza. Please teach them how to add the ingredients to the pizza properly. This is the only reason I don't eat there as frequently as I used to. Other than the pizza recently I'd ALWAYS give a 5 star review. The hoagies are still pretty good especially the pazzo cheesesteak. But please get the original sauce recipe back on the pizza. It just doesn't taste like Giorgio's.

Giorgioβs Pizza β North Shore - Neoplolitan Slice with Pepperoni. Thereβs a big difference between using great ingredients and truly understanding them. At Giorgioβs Pizza, Dave, the owner and artisan behind the pies, clearly understands that difference. Plenty of pizza shops can source high-quality ingredients. Very few know how to balance them, layer them, and bring them together with precision. Dave approaches pizza like a craftsman, using each component with purpose. The crust was beautifully executed, the sauce was flavorful without overpowering the pie, the cheese was perfectly balanced, and the old-world cup-and-crisp pepperoni delivered exactly what you want: deep flavor, crisp edges, and that unmistakable savory finish. Nothing fought for attention. Everything worked together. Iβve tried more than 3,000 different pizzas, and Giorgioβs genuinely earned a place in my top three. That is not something I say lightly. This was my first visit, but it certainly will not be my last. The Sicilian is next on my list, and Iβm already looking forward to seeing what Dave does with it. When you visit, tell Dave Pittsburgh Pizza Guy sent you. Giorgioβs isnβt just serving pizza. T

It was our first time there. Staff was very pleasant and the food was delicious. We ordered 2 small fries and they were 2 very full baskets, we couldn't eat the entire baskets. Very filling

Located in Allegheny West, Giorgioβs is a good place. Itβs spacious enough to dine in if you have a large party. I appreciate that you can choose any toppings for an individual slice if youβd like. The menu has more options than just pizza. I believe theyβre known for their hoagies and they also sell fries. Good pizza, probably better hoagies though.

The food was edible. 12 inch regular pizza with pepperoni. Really greasy to the point the toppings were almost falling off the pizza. Homemade dough but tastes like any other pizza. Garlic bread wasnβt that good. Doesnβt even come with sauce. Itβs literally an open piece of bread with baked on cheese and garlic seasoning. Service wasnβt great. Could not find any way to make an online order so I called in. The first time the person picked up and was just talking to other people. Sat on the phone saying βhelloβ for a few minutes before just hanging up. When I tried to call back the line was busy so I figured the server never hung the phone back up due to not paying attention. When I finally got ahold of them I still had to wait and then they were curt. However, there was only 1 customer in store when I went to pick it up and pay. I truly donβt understand why it has so many stars.
